Healing Sounds for Mind, Body & Spirit

I play and sell beautiful, hand-made bowls straight from the source!

Both the Classic and Full Moon Bowls are made in Nepal by my teacher, Santa Ratna Shakya.

What’s the difference between the Classic and Full Moon Bowls?

Classic Bowls

are hand-made using an ancient 7-metal recipe of gold, silver, copper, tin, zinc, iron and lead. These bowls are solid citizens that get better with play and love as the vibrations soften the metal. Great for home meditation practice or as gifts.

Full Moon Bowls

a special creation made during a full moon by metal artisan and healer Santa Ratna Shakya. These bowls are made in small batches in open air, only when there is a clear sky. Workers treat this as a sacred ceremony and do various purifying practices for the process of making Full Moon Bowls. Full Moon Bowls are high-quality, professional tools used especially for sound healing. While the same 7 metals are the ingredients used for the Classic Bowls, the quality of metal is the purest that can be that found. They also contain significantly more silver, which helps carry the sound/vibration for a longer time. The majestic sounds of these bowls will transport you to heaven, the moon or which ever healing place you wish to go!

My journey with singing bowls started in Boulder, Colorado when I went into an Eastern shop looking for something else.

When I opened the door, I was instantly transported into a magical sound realm of the singing bowl.

Sreejna, the shop owner, was on the floor with a customer with hundreds of bowls. I was immediately drawn to play and buy my first bowl (despite the fact that I had no money). This became one of many trips where I would play bowls on the floor with Sreejna slowly building my collection.

Then one day she said with glee, Santa is here! I said who is Santa? She said he is the bowl master who makes the singing bowls that I came to love. And then she said the famous last words that permanently plunged me into the sacred world of the singing bowls – “let me take you to the back room so you can experience a sound therapy session with Santa.”

I went to the this little back room lined with rugs and a circle of singing bowls. Santa smiled and introduced me to my first sound healing session where the bowls are placed on and around the body for like a cellular level sound massage. I was gone. Two months later, with no planning or invitation, Santa and his apprentice came to my home in NJ to train me one-on-one in sound healing.

For four days, we never left the house. We barely could understand each other linguistically but could communicate through the bowls. Santa said he was called to teach me and I got my first professional harmonized set of artifact bowls. He came back the next year to further train me and I have been happily sharing the bowls with many people in many different circumstances. The magic has continued as they open new doors for me and touch other people. These are the only bowls I play and happily sell to others who want a beautiful instrument right from the Source.
